Case study

Sunlit Interiors

Let the work speak. Give it the right stage.

Sunlit Interiors needed a digital experience that reflected the quality of its residential design work while giving prospective clients a clearer understanding of the studio, its services, and its point of view. Built developed the brand strategy, content structure, UX/UI, and website around a more intentional portfolio experience.

Challenge

Beautiful work needed a stronger digital presentation.

Sunlit Interiors had the most important ingredient already: strong design work. The challenge was creating a digital experience that gave that work the space and context it deserved while also helping prospective clients understand the studio, its approach, and why they should make contact.

Interior design websites can easily become image galleries with little strategic structure. Sunlit needed more than a portfolio. The site had to communicate the brand, organize services and projects clearly, and turn visual interest into qualified inquiries.

  • Strong project imagery needed a more intentional presentation

  • Portfolio content needed structure rather than a simple gallery

  • Brand positioning and visual design needed to feel connected

  • Services needed clearer context for prospective clients

  • The website needed a stronger path from inspiration to inquiry

Approach

Let the work lead. Give the brand a point of view.

Built developed the experience around the portfolio rather than treating project imagery as decoration. Large photography, deliberate spacing, and a restrained visual system allowed the interiors themselves to establish the first impression while supporting content explained the thinking behind the work.

Brand strategy and content structure were developed alongside the UX so services, portfolio projects, positioning, and calls to action worked together. The resulting website gave Sunlit a more polished presentation while making it easier for prospective clients to understand the studio and move toward an inquiry.

  • Clarified brand positioning and the studio’s digital point of view

  • Structured the portfolio around stronger project storytelling

  • Designed a photography-led visual system with room for the work to breathe

  • Reorganized services and supporting content around prospective-client questions

  • Connected portfolio exploration to clearer inquiry paths

  • Built a responsive site that maintained the visual experience across screen sizes
